‘RX100’ was a sensational hit in Telugu, which established the careers of actors Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film made big money at the box office due to the twist in the tale and songs.

However, Ajay Bhupathi could not repeat the same success with his second film, Maha Samudram. The film tanked at the box office. It was also universally panned by critics.

Now, the Hindi remake of ‘RX 100’ hit the theaters. Titled ‘Tadap’, the film marks the debut of Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty. Expectedly, the film got thumbs down from the Bollywood critics.

“Despite well-executed scenes, and shocking twists Tadap suffers from an outdated and clichéd storyline,” Bollywood Hungama wrote in its review. The Indian Express expressed the same, “mothballed romance is buried under tiresome 80s clichés.”

We have to see whether the film would work at the box office.
