Rajinikanth celebrates his 73rd birthday on December 12th. The superstar is still working on films and playing lead roles. Two films were recently announced, one of which is currently in production.

It has long been customary in the South Indian film industry to reveal a title or release poster on the star’s birthday. The makers of ‘Thalaivar 170’ are said to be planning to do the same.
On December 12, the film’s first look and title are likely to be revealed.
The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel of “Jai Bhim” fame and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh among others.
In the film, Rajinikanth portrays a cop.
