Day 5: Peddi passes Monday test, stays stable

Peddi

After posting impressive numbers during its extended opening weekend, the real challenge for a big-ticket film begins on its first Monday. A sharp drop could have signaled trouble, but “Peddi” has successfully cleared that crucial test and continues its steady run at the box office.

On Monday, the film collected approximately Rs 14 crore gross in India. It also reportedly sold around 1.74 lakh tickets on BookMyShow, reflecting sustained audience interest.

While the Hindi version continues to underperform and collections in Telangana remain below expectations, the film is holding up strongly in Andhra Pradesh.

With Monday’s collections, “Peddi” has crossed the Rs 201 crore gross mark in India. Overseas, the rural sports drama has amassed around Rs 40 crore gross, taking its worldwide total to Rs 241 crore gross in just five days.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu.
