A film with Pawan to happen soon, says Dil Raju

Producer Dil Raju is confident about the success of his latest production “Krishnastami” which is releasing this weekend on 19th Feb. Starring Sunil in the lead role, the movie is directed by Vasu Varma. Known for judging a movie accurately, Dil Raju had tasted great success as producer as well as distributor. Although some of his recent movies failed to set box-office on fire, he is still considered as the producer with a taste. 

Allu Arjun was to do Krishnashtami!
 
Talking about Krishnashtami, he said that the movie would become successful. “If you want me to review the movie and rate it, I say I would give it something between 3.25 to 3.5/5,” he rated his movie. The film was originally planned with Allu Arjun in the direction of Gopichand Malineni but it finally was made with Sunil in the direction of Vasu Varma. Explaining the reason behind Allu Arjun’s exit from the project, he said, “After acting in Arya and Parugu in our production house, Allu Arjun wanted to do another special movie. He heard this story and liked it but he said he would do for a story that has even bigger canvas. So we dropped it. He went to do Trivikram’s Satyamurthy. And Gopichand Malineni did “Pandaga Chesuko’. Later I told this story idea to Vasu Varma, he was excited about the story line and expanded it into a beautiful script. Then we approached Sunil and he immediately accepted our offer and worked on this movie without signing any other film.”

Didn’t Reshoot Krishnasthami

Putting an end to the rumors, Dil Raju denied that the film was reshot. “We reshot Mr. Perfect when some of the sequences didn’t come out well and the movie went to become blockbuster. Same was the case with Kerintha which also was a hit. But in the case of Krishnastami we didn’t reshoot but we cut the film again to make it faster and better. Reedit is the right word,” he added.
 

Will make film with Pawan Kalyan shortly

Dil Raju revealed that his main goal in his life as producer is now to produce a film with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. “I have been waiting for a call from him for a long time. Recently he asked us to come up with a good script and make a movie with him. Currently I am scouting for a good script for him. Hopefully I will be producing Pawan’s movie shortly,” he told excitedly.

Nagarjuna will do ‘Yevado Okkadu’

Dil Raju last year launched ‘Yevado Okkadu’ with Ravi Teja as hero in the direction of Venu Sriram. The movie has now been dropped off. “I am still good friends with Ravi Teja. Amicably we dropped off the movie with him. Small differences were the reason for this. But we now have approached Nagarjuna garu. He formally agreed to do the film but he is yet to listen to the story,” Dil Raju spilled the beans.
 
New movies

On April 1st, we will be releasing ‘Supreme’ starring Sai Dharam Teja which is being directed by ‘Pataas’ fame Anil Ravipudi. In summer we will be launching a horror thriller in the direction of Krishnavamsi which is going to be visual treat. It will be made in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.
