Can you tell us about your character in “Game Changer”?
The name of my character in ‘Game Changer’ is Parvathi, and incidentally, my mother’s name is Parvathi as well. When Shankar narrated the story, the mention of the character’s name evoked memories of my mother. This character required huge effort from me. I believe I did my best to meet the character’s demands. Shankar appreciated my performance on numerous instances. This will be the pinnacle film of my career.
What preparations did you undertake for your role?
I did not make any special preparations for the role of Parvathi. Shankar garu has already hinted at the intricate nature of my character and cautioned me against divulging any details. The audience will be thrilled while watching it in the theater. This role has stayed with me, even after wrapping the work many months ago. This is the most outstanding character in my career.
Are you expecting the national award?
I heard people commenting that I might win a national award. I sincerely hope that this becomes a reality. There would not be more joy than winning the national award.
What was your experience working with Ram Charan?
The role of Parvathi is the main pivot to the story and the soul of the movie. To avoid revealing the suspense, the trailer showed little about my role. Ram Charan’s Appanna and my Parvathi will share profound love and affection.
Ram Charan fosters a sense of comfort among his co-stars. He exhibits a composed demeanor both on and off the sets. He interacts amicably with all people on the sets. This is a special film for me, as I have worked with Shankar Garu and Ram Charan Garu for the first time. Every actor aspires to be part of the films of Shankar and Mani Ratnam.
Will Game Changer significantly impact your life?
My perspective has shifted because of this film. I must exercise caution in selecting my forthcoming roles and films. Indeed, this will significantly transform my career as an actor.
What is it like doing another film with producer Dil Raju?
I have consistently offered great films by Dilraju Garu. “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” and “Vakeel Saab” were both highly appreciated blockbusters. We will also remember “The Game Changer” for a long time.
