Madhu Shalini: I am not that greedy!

Actress Madhu Shalini has recently appeared in a web series titled ‘Expiry Date’. The web drama is currently streaming on ZEE5 in Telugu and Hindi languages. Madhu Shalini says she has received quite positive feedback from the viewers. Starring Sneha Ullal, Tony Luke, and Ali Reza in other roles, the web series is directed by Shankar K Marthand and produced by Sharrath Marar.

How is the response to the web series?

So far, it has been very good. All the responses are positive. Some from the film fraternity have called me up to ask about their next projects. Such is the response. 

What is ‘Expiry Date’ all about?

The story is about four persons from different walks of life cross paths with one another. The narration is quite gripping. Relationships in the series are stretched out well with a tight narration.

What are your upcoming projects?

‘Rise Of Sivagami’, which is produced by ‘Baahubali’ fame Arka Media, is another big series that I had done. A Telugu-Tamil bilingual ‘Goodachari-2’ and a Tamil film for director Bala are also in the pipeline.

Why have you cut down films?

I sign films that I like. I am not greedy to sign whatever that comes. If I like the story, I will not think much about grabbing it.
