It has become a fashion for fans and media to add some prefix to every star. Tamil star Ajith Kumar is fondly called Thala. But he doesn’t be called as such. He appealed to his fans and media to stop calling him ‘Thala’. He doesn’t want to be referred to with any prefix.
He has released a statement in this regard.
“To The Respected members of the Media, public and genuine fans. I henceforth wish to be referred to as Ajith, Ajith Kumar or just AK n not as “Thala” or any other prefix b4 my name. I sincerely wish you all a beautiful life filled with Good health, happiness, success, peace of mind, and contentment forever. Love Ajith,” he said in the statement.
Ajith Kumar is currently working on ‘Valimai’. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is paired opposite him. The film is set for Sankranthi 2022 release.
