Adivi Sesh had earlier promised his fans that he would release at least three films in quick succession. However, things didn’t go according to plan, and several delays slowed down his lineup. In fact, his upcoming film Dacoit had to be postponed three times so far.
Now, determined to get back on track, Sesh has moved forward with a clear plan. The shooting of “Dacoit” has finally been completed. The team marked the occasion by breaking the traditional “gummadi kaya” on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, officially wrapping up the film’s shoot.
After completing the shoot, the team interacted with the media on the sets. Apart from Sesh, the event was attended by Anurag Kashyap, director Shaneil Deo, and producer Supriya Yarlagadda.
With exactly one month left for its theatrical release on April 10, the makers are now preparing to intensify promotions. The team plans to unveil new songs and additional promotional material in the coming days.
The film features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, while Anurag Kashyap plays Swamy, an evil police officer. The music for the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Sesh and his team are expected to promote the film aggressively in both Telugu and Hindi markets as the release date approaches.
