Janhvi Kapoor is the latest Indian actress to make a splash at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Actors from around the world go to great lengths for a chance to walk the red carpet at Cannes. While actresses like Aishwarya Rai are regulars—having promoted her films, served on the jury, and represented a major cosmetics brand—others like Deepika Padukone have mostly appeared as corporate brand ambassadors.
Now, Janhvi Kapoor is making her Cannes debut.
Her latest film Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, has been selected for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival under the Un Certain Regard category. As the lead actress of the film, she is attending this prestigious festival.
Like many other actresses, Janhvi Kapoor also did a Cannes Riviera shoot today. This means she did a photoshoot in the scenic French Riviera area and shared the pictures on her Instagram.
Janhvi took a break from shooting her Telugu film to attend the festival. She is currently working on Ram Charan’s “Peddi,” her second Telugu film after “Devara.”
