Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has joined hands with veteran actress Vijayashanthi for an action drama. Vijayashanthi portrayed the character of police officer Vyjayanthi in her acclaimed film, Kartavyam (1990). Their film has now been titled after her character from that film.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, the producers have revealed the title of the film, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi.
The poster features Kalyan Ram radiating formidable strength, while Vijayashanthi appears authoritative and imposing in a khaki attire. The characters traverse with resolute determination amidst flames. A giant shackle connects the characters. The title cleverly crafts the letters “S” and “O” linked by a chain, adding a metaphorical link to the film’s theme.
“Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi” stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female main role, with Sohail Khan portraying the antagonist. The composition is by Ajaneesh Loknath.
“Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi” is produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu, under the banners of Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts, with the release date to be announced shortly. Pradeep Chilukuri is the director.
