“Laila,” starring Vishwak Sen, is set for release tomorrow, on the eve of Valentine’s Day. The film recently sparked controversy after Prudhvi Raj made politically sensitive remarks, forcing an apology from Vishwak Sen. The dispute is over, and it is now set for big opening.
While the film has piqued interest with Vishwaksen taking on the persona of Laila, a woman, the trailer suggests that it has some adult humor. In addition, “Laila” has obtained an ‘A’ certificate, indicating that it is an adult-themed action comedy.
Vishwaksen clarified that the film does not contain sleazy comedy. “Whatever the humor and dialogues are geared at youngsters. The content is youthful, but not vulgar,” he said.
“When a man dons a female getup, it naturally prompts dialogues about certain things that give an impression of adult-themed but we didn’t cross the decency border,” Vishwaksen added.
