Tamil actor Suriya will be turning producer for the Hindi remake of his film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. The official remake was launched today.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will play the role essayed by Suriya. Radhika Madan will be the leading lady.

Suriya and Jyotika’s 2D Entertainment in association with Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment will produce this film. Music will be scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
Presently Suriya is shooting a film under Bala’s direction. Post this film Suriya will be working Vetri Maaran’s ‘Vaadivaasal’.
