It has already crossed the first hurdle. The song from &#8220;RRR,&#8221; &#8220;Naatu Naatu,&#8221; has already made it onto the Oscar shortlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before announcing nominations, the Academy announced shortlists in 10 categories. In the category of original song, MM Keeravani&#8217;s &#8220;Naatu Naatu&#8221; composition was selected. A total of 10 songs were shortlisted. From these 10 shortlists, five will be nominated next month. And the final winner will be known on March 12, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No Telugu song until now has made it to the Oscar shortlist. Thus, &#8216;RRR&#8217; created a history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from &#8220;RRR,&#8221; Gujarati film &#8220;Chhello Show&#8221; also made it to the shortlists in the category of &#8220;Best International Feature Film.&#8221;<br>We wish and hope that both of these films are nominated further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether &#8220;RRR&#8221; will make it to nominations in other categories like &#8220;directing,&#8221; &#8220;best film,&#8221; &#8220;cinematography,&#8221; etc., will be known on January 24.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rajamouli&#8217;s &#8220;RRR&#8221; is all set to create history for a Telugu film, as the film is on the verge of bagging Oscar nominations.
