Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ shoot begins
The shooting of “Jailer 2,” a sequel to the blockbuster “Jailer,” has officially started. Production house Sun Pictures announced the start of the film through social media.
Currently, the film’s shooting is progressing in Chennai, which will continue for another fortnight; then the team will shift to Kerala.
Rajinikanth reprises his role as Muthuvel Pandian, with Nelson Dilipkumar directing and Anirudh Ravichander composing the music. The storyline promises to be action-packed, with scenes involving intense action sequences, as suggested by promotional materials showing Rajinikanth in dramatic, blood-stained settings.
“Jailer 2” is set to release in April 2026, with high expectations to break box office records.
