Prabhas has been out of the work for four months. He ceased all work before traveling to a foreign country for knee surgery in early October. For this reason, the “Salaar” team did not hold any events. He simply filmed video interviews.
This weekend marked the end of Salaar’s run. It will not add much amount to its total earnings further. Prabhas thanked his fans and the audience for helping to make the film a huge success.
However, the actor has yet to return to work. According to our sources, he will take another ten days off at home before returning to work just before Republic Day. He will begin filming “Kalki 2898 AD” first. He’ll need to finish a major part for “Kalki” right away.
Due to knee pain, he previously relied heavily on body doubles (dupes) for stunt sequences. Prabhas will perform the majority of the action stunts on his own now that the surgery is complete and he can move normally. He starts with “Kalki”.
In February, he will begin work on director Maruthi’s film. The title and first look of this film will be revealed during the Sankranthi festival.
