Kingdom: Off to a strong start in the USA

Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film “Kingdom” is set to premiere in three days, and advance bookings are showing promising momentum. The trend in the USA is impressive as ticket sales are steadily climbing.

“Kingdom” has already crossed the $250K mark in premiere pre-sales, signaling a positive early trend. This is encouraging news for Vijay Deverakonda, whose market in the U.S. took a hit following the debacle of “Liger” and a string of subsequent underperformers. At his peak, his films would open in the $400K–$500K range for premieres.

With “Kingdom” already making a mark in advance bookings, it appears Deverakonda may be on track to rebuild his overseas box office standing.

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and is produced by Naga Vamsi.
