Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava, A warrior of peace!
f he sold the idea of familial unity in ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, Trivikram Srinivas is out to drive home the message that he who brings peace is the real hero, in ‘Aravindha Sametha’. You have artists as different and versatile as NTR and Rao Ramesh conveying the message in Trivikram-style. This is not to say that ‘Aravindha Sametha’ is a non-violent movie in toto. There is glorification of not only violence but also death.
As a key character allegedly says in the movie, ‘Chaavu chokka lekunda thirigithe yettuntaado telusa!’ That’s when NTR bursts forth on the screen without a shirt, flaunting abs like a glamorous hero caught in factionalism. Veera Raghava is greedy for blood.
The transformation of Veera Raghava into a votary of peace is driven by circumstances and people, including the heroine. So, Pooja Hegde does have a strong role, we hope. As it is, the rom-com track seems to be very important. Also seen in the film are Naga Babu, Eesha Rebba, Sunil and Srinivas Reddy. Thaman’s BGM is waiting to raise the fever in the film.
