Deva Katta enters into Bollywood

Actor Sanjay Dutt will play the role of Sai Kumar in the Hindi remake of ‘Prasthanam’ movie. Director Deva Katta who directed the original version, will wield the megaphone for the remake version and make his Bollywood debut.

Actors Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur will be seen in other important roles. ‘Prasthanam’ remake shooting will start on June 1st which happens to be Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt’s birth anniversary.

‘Prasthanam’ is a political drama and was one of the most critically acclaimed successful film. The film went on to win several awards and was also selected for screening in the Indian Panorama section at International Film Festival of India, Goa.

Sanjay Dutt would bankroll the movie under Sanjay Dutt Productions banner.
