Remember Shamili, the Anjali girl? She was everyone’s favourite as child artiste after the release of Mani Rathnam’s classic ‘Anjali’. She made debut as lead actress when she turned young woman. Her debut film was ‘Oye’ opposite Siddharth.
However, her maiden film as heroine didn’t click at box-office. Her looks also came in sharp criticism. She took a long break. Shamili has now slimmed and looking gorgeous. She made re-entry into Telugu with ‘Ammamma Garillu’, that is releasing this Friday (May 25). Sundar Surya is making his directional debut with this that has Naga Shaurya in the lead.
She has played the role of maradalu of Naga Shaurya in the film. She appears in a village belle character.
