Peddi crosses quarter million dollars in North America

The advance bookings for Ram Charan’s “Peddi” are off to a flying start in North America. With nearly 20 days still left for the premiere shows, the film has already crossed the impressive $250K mark in pre-sales.

The strong early trend indicates the massive buzz generated by the film’s teaser glimpses and the two songs released so far. Trade circles believe the momentum will only grow stronger as the release date approaches, pointing towards a huge opening in the overseas market.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” features Ram Charan in the role of a sportsperson and promises a mix of sports drama, action, and social commentary. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead.

The makers are set to release the trailer on May 18, and expectations are high that the bookings will witness another major surge once the trailer drops.
