Sushmita Shetty bags her first lead role in Telugu

Kannada actress Sushmita Shetty has landed her first lead role in Telugu cinema after making a brief appearance in the youthful entertainer “Mad.” Her growing popularity on social media, especially Instagram, has further boosted her visibility.

Sushmita has now been cast as the female lead opposite Mouli Tanuj Prasanth in a new romantic drama backed by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers. The film is currently being shot across Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

Mouli Tanuj Prasanth shot to fame with “Little Hearts,” which emerged as a surprise success at the box office. Impressed by his performance and the film’s reception, Mythri Movie Makers signed him for another youthful love story aimed at teenage and young adult audiences.

In the upcoming film, Mouli Tanuj Prasanth and Sushmita Shetty will be seen playing teenage lovers. The makers are expected to reveal more details about the cast, title, and release plans in the coming weeks.
