Roshan Kanakala stars in a sci-fi entertainer, film launched

Young actor Roshan Kanakala has signed a new sci-fi entertainer, which was formally launched on Friday with a traditional pooja ceremony. The film also marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Gahazy Shiju Kunnath, who plays the female lead opposite Roshan.

The cast also includes Satya, Sudarshan, and Ravi Teja Nannimala in key roles.

The project introduces Vijay K Kamisetty as director. Interestingly, the story has been penned by VI Anand, the filmmaker known for blending fantasy and science fiction in Telugu cinema.

Produced by Balaji Gutta and Koushik Reddy under the Gutta Productions banner, the film was launched at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Kakatiya Hills. Actor Nikhil gave the ceremonial clap for the muhurtham shot, while acclaimed cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar switched on the camera.

According to the makers, the film will blend fantasy, romance, comedy, mystery, and science fiction into a single narrative. Sekhar Chandra has been roped in to compose the music.
