Pawan Kalyan’s wife requests fans: ‘Please call me Anna Konidala’

Anna Konidala, the wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, has made an emotional appeal to fans on Instagram, requesting them to address her by her married name instead of her birth name, Anna Lezhneva.
Explaining that she has been using Anna Konidala both personally and officially since her marriage, she urged followers and media alike to refer to her by the name she identifies with today.
Along with the note, Anna shared a throwback photograph from one of her first trips to Russia with Pawan Kalyan.
In her Instagram post, she wrote:
“Most people first got to know me as Anna Lezhneva, because that’s the name that was everywhere when news about our marriage came out. The funny thing is, our marriage certificate is actually the last official document where that surname appears.
On that day, I took my husband’s surname and became Anna Konidala. So if you’ve read this far, I just have one small request. Please call me Anna Konidala. That’s my name, and it’s the one I feel like myself with.”
Anna, who hails from Russia, married Pawan Kalyan in September 2013. The couple has two children together, a son and a daughter. Pawan Kalyan also has two children, Akira and Aadhya, from his previous marriage to Renu Desai.
