“Saripodhaa Sanivvaaram,” starring Nani, has not performed strongly in the domestic market on its first day. Although the film generated over half a million dollars from its premiere shows in North America, its result in India might be considered average.
The film’s first-day box office collection in India, across all languages, amounted to approximately Rs 10 crore (gross), which can be considered an ordinary start. The Telugu version accounted for 90 percent of the total revenue generated. The Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi versions had minimal collection on the first day.
On the first day, the film “Tillu Square” generated higher revenue compared to “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.” If a film’s trailer fails to excite the audience, regardless of the amount of promotional efforts, there is no assurance of a grand opening.
“Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” is currently experiencing tremendous performance in North America, having already surpassed $850k in collection. It is expected to reach the $1 million milestone within a day.
