Now in the month of February, there is going to be a flood of releases in Tollywood. The majority of February’s new releases are moderately budgeted films. Films starring Kalyan Ram, Sundeep Kishan, Kiran Abbavaram, Suhaas, and Samantha can be found among the competition.

Three-way fight

There will be three movies opening on the same weekend. The trailer for Michael, Sundeep Kishan’s pan-Indian film, has been very well received. On February 3rd, the movie will be available in theatres all over India. In addition, Suhaas’s new film “Writer Padmanabham” opens that day. The movie is a fun entertainer. The remake of a Malayalam movie titled “Butta Bomma” will have its premiere on February 4. The film has the backing of major studio Sithara Entertainments.

Kalyan Ram’s show

Kalyan Ram’s ‘Bimbisara’ was a huge success last year, and his upcoming film, “Amigos,” is generating a lot of buzz. The movie is scheduled for release on February 10th, and he plays not one, but three roles (dopplegangers). Mythri Movie Makers, a leading studio, produced the film. So, it carries lot of hype.

On the same day that “Amigos” hits theatres, “Popcorn,” starring Avika Gor and Sai Ronak, will also open.

Samantha vs Dhanush vs Kiran Abbavaram

Samantha and Gunasekhar have collaborated for a film called “Shaakuntalam”, and it’s a mythological fantasy. It’s a pan-Indian film. The fantasy movie opens on February 17th.

Dhanush’s bilingual film “Sir” will also debut on the same day. As of yet, there has been no buzz about this movie. So far, promotions have been fairly subtle.

Kiran Abbavaram has high hopes on “Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha,” whichi also releases on the same day. He has the guts to go up against these two established stars.
