Anushka Shetty has had a fabulous 2015. Two of her films went on to become superhits, there was Baahubali and Rudramadevi. The third film Size Zero is just round the corner for release. Come November 27th and we will get to see the film. Anushka spoke at length about her film…

Her Characterization in Size Zero…

Anushka plays the role of a young girl called Sweety who is heavily overweight. She gets many proposals but her huge size is her big problem. The actress says that this is a role that many girls will identify with. When director Prakash and writer Kanika Dhillon narrated this role to her she immediately agreed to it as she was able to identify with this character.

Personally Anushka does not prefer the zero size. She says that she prefers to be in her body frame and maintains the height weight ratio. She only regrets when she does not find clothes for big size.

Truth in 20 kg gain…

The actress says that it’s true that she gained weight, but it was only 17kgs. In order to look authentic she gained one kg more. Gaining weight really caused lots of problems for her. Her legs would hurt as she was not used to carrying so much body weight. This was okay as she got back into shape soon after she finished shooting for this film.

Expectations from Size Zero…

Anushka is 100 percent sure that the film will be liked by all especially the women. The issue dealt with in this film is topical and the film has come out well.

Food and fitness…

She gains weight easily says Anushka. Also the actress follows strict yoga regime. It’s a part of her life. In Size Zero she is shown as a sweet lover, contrary to this in real life Anushka loves fish and Chicken.

Wedding bells…

Yes that’s on cards says the pretty actress. Very soon things will fall in place, she hinted.

Bilinguals and Bollywood…

Anushka is popular in Kollywood and she is getting films with subjects that will impress both Kollywood and Tollywood fans. So bilingual is in, but as of now Anushka has no plans for Bollywood.
