Did Preity Mukundhan turn down Allu Arjun’s ‘Raaka’?

Actress Preity Mukundhan is enjoying a surge in popularity following the success of the Tamil action drama “Blast.” Although she made her Telugu debut with “Kannappa,” it is “Blast” that has brought her wider recognition.

Now, it has emerged that Preity was initially approached for a role in Allu Arjun’s “Raaka,” directed by Atlee. However, she reportedly could not take up the offer due to prior commitments.

Speaking at the pre-release event of “Idhayam Murali” (Telugu-dubbed as “Hridayam Murali”), Atlee showered praise on the actress.

“You are amazing. The way you dance and the way you act are beautiful,” he said. The director then revealed that he had invited her to be part of “Raaka,” but she informed him that she was already committed to “Idhayam Murali.”

Atlee wished her success and encouraged her to remain as humble and hardworking as she has always been.
