Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut gets lukewarm opening

South Indian actress Sai Pallavi has stepped into Bollywood with Ek Din, a film produced by veteran superstar Aamir Khan. She stars opposite Junaid Khan in the film, which released in theaters today but has opened to a slow response at the box office.

Ek Din, a remake of a Thai film, sees Sai Pallavi playing a character suffering from temporary memory loss—marking the second time she has taken on such a role after Padi Padi Leche Manasu.

Despite strong promotional efforts led by Aamir Khan, early box office trends indicate an underwhelming opening. The film’s performance now hinges on positive word of mouth in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi is gearing up for her next Bollywood project, Ramayana, one of the most anticipated films of the year, where she will portray Goddess Sita.
