Dhurandhar: The Revenge enters Telugu market, Teaser unveiled

After setting the box office on fire in India and overseas, Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster “Dhurandhar” is back with its much-anticipated sequel. Titled “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” the film’s Telugu teaser was unveiled today, officially marking the franchise’s entry into the South market.

While the first part did not release in Telugu, the sequel will hit theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam simultaneously. The makers have also confirmed the worldwide release date as March 19, 2026.

The teaser offers a high-octane glimpse of Ranveer Singh as an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistan and operates undercover in Karachi. Driven by revenge for terrorist attacks carried out in India, the character embarks on a dangerous mission. Packed with heroism-loaded moments, slick action stunts, and a gripping background score, the teaser promises a full-blown action spectacle.

“Dhurandhar” proved to be a major turning point in Ranveer Singh’s career and also brought widespread recognition to music director Shashwat Sachdev and actress Sara Arjun. Both are now making their Telugu cinema debuts. Sachdev is composing music for his first Telugu film The India House, starring Nikhil Siddhartha, while Sara Arjun will be seen as a lead actress in Euphoria, releasing this weekend.

Produced and directed by Aditya Dhar, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” is expected to open big in the Telugu market and set new benchmarks across languages.
