Koratala Siva is happy that his fourth film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ too turned out to be blockbuster. He had invested heavily in this film. He released the film in some areas on his own. Now that the film is running well in its second week, he has opened up about his next film.

Purposely did not criticize any political party

When you make a political film, there are many instances where you can criticize a political party and its policies get a good mileage for your film. I have kept ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ quite honest and made it free from all these cheap tactics. The only aim was to raise a few social issues in a gripping manner. That is the reason the film is drawing huge applause from every political party these days.

Discussed the local governance point with Jayaprakash Narayana

Our film has a very interesting issue of local governance. Before making the film, I met Jayaparakash Narayana personally and discussed this point with him a lot. It was his idea of having the aspect which is getting good appreciation from every nook and corner.

Will turn producer soon

For some time now, I have been writing these scripts which are quite new and have interesting storylines. I myself cannot direct them but will give chance to new directors who can execute these scripts in an innovative manner. In the coming years, you will see me making many content oriented films from my new production house.

About next project

The industry has labelled me as a director who always makes a film which has a social cause. I want to break away from that tag and make my next film in a typical commercial manner. The film will be a masala entertainer and will have all the mass elements and a big star will be playing the lead role once again.
