Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ has been postponed. The makers are looking at the June release. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on May 13.
Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, the makers have decided not to release in May.
The makers are now looking at the third week of June as the best release date for it. Koratala Siva is planning to begin the shoot of his next film with NTR in July. Also, Chiranjeevi will be busy shooting for the remake of ‘Lucifer’.
‘Acharya’ is produced by Matinee Entertainments and it also sees Ram Charan playing an important role alongside his father Chiranjeevi. While Kajal is paired opposite Chiranjeevi, Pooja Hegde is the female companion for Ram Charan in the film.
Mani Sharma has composed the music. The film’s shoot is in progress.
