Actor Vijay reveals his assets worth over Rs 600 Cr

Vijay, popularly known as Thalapathy Vijay, has declared his assets and income details as he steps into active politics with his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). He is set to contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and recently filed his nomination for the Perambur constituency.

According to his affidavit, Vijay has declared movable assets worth approximately Rs 405 crore and immovable assets valued at around Rs 115 crore, taking his total wealth to over Rs 624 crore.

His immovable assets include a wide range of real estate investments such as residential properties, agricultural and non-agricultural lands, and commercial establishments.

Vijay also disclosed assets held in the name of his wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, who has reportedly filed for divorce seeking annulment of their marriage.

In terms of valuables, Vijay owns 883 grams of gold worth over Rs 1.2 crore, 3,132 grams of silver, and 134.91 carats of diamonds.

His affidavit also lists an impressive fleet of vehicles, including recent additions like BMW i7, Toyota Lexus 350, and Toyota Vellfire, along with older models such as BMW 530, Maruti Swift, and TVS XL Super.

A major star in South Indian cinema, Vijay has commanded huge remuneration in recent years, contributing significantly to his wealth accumulation. As he transitions into politics, his financial disclosures have now become a major talking point.
