Urmila Matondkar is the latest Indian celebrity to seek separation from her spouse. In recent months, many Indian celebrities filed for divorce from their respective partners.
Urmila Matondkar, who created sensation with her portrayal as the main heroine in Ram Gopal Varma’s “Rangeela” in the 1990s, has filed for divorce from her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after eight years of marriage.
After thorough deliberation, Urmila has resolved to terminate her marriage with Mohsin. She has formally submitted a divorce petition to the court. The cause of the split remains unclear; nonetheless, it is widely acknowledged that they had been residing separately for many months.
Urmila is in her early fifties.
Urmila acted in many Telugu films, including “Gayam” and “Anaganaga Oka Roju.”
