Bollywood producers are on the spree of announcing release dates. The makers of Prabhas’s ‘Adipurush’ made it clear that the film would release on August 11, 2022 as announced earlier. There is no change in the film’s release date.
It will directly clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rakshabandhan’ on next year’s Independence Day weekend.
‘Adipurush’ marks Prabhas’s official Bollywood debut. The film is primarily being shot in Hindi and Telugu. But it will also be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Billed to be an epic drama based on Ramayana, the 3D film is being filmed in Mumbai. T Series is bankrolling the project.
Om Raut is the director of ‘Adipurush’. Kriti Sanon plays the female lead.
Prabhas is planning to release ‘Radhe Shyam’ on Jan 14, 2022. The film’s shooting was wrapped up. Then there is ‘Salaar’ in the direction of Prashanth Neel. The film was originally slated for April 2022 release, but it may opt for another date.
