Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit trends at No. 1 on Prime Video
“Dacoit” has emerged as the top trending film on Amazon Prime Video after its recent OTT debut. The Telugu action drama, which released in theaters in April, is now streaming in multiple languages and drawing the attention of pan-Indian audiences.
Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur as ex-lovers, “Dacoit” blends romance, action, and suspense with several unexpected twists. The climax, in particular, has become a major talking point among OTT viewers. Mrunal Thakur’s decision to portray a woman with a pre-teen daughter was also seen as a bold choice.
Although the film received mixed reviews from critics and failed to make a strong impact at the box office, audience reactions on OTT appear to be more encouraging. Its strong streaming performance is expected to further boost Adivi Sesh’s value in the digital market ahead of his upcoming projects.
Adivi Sesh is currently working on the spy thriller “G2”, while Mrunal Thakur is busy promoting her upcoming Bollywood film “Hai Jawani Hai Toh Ishq Hai”, slated for release on June 5.
