There is still confusion about the movie releases for the Sankranthi festival 2022. Tamil biggie ‘Valimai’, starring Ajith in the powerful lead role, has joined the festival race in Telugu. The makers have now announced it officially.

‘Valimai’ will hit the screens on Jan 13, 2022, Telugu and Hindi along with the Tamil version.
‘Valimai’ is an action entertainer. The film’s trailer and teasers have received a tremendous response. Directed by H. Vinoth of Karthi starrer ‘Khaakee’ (2017), the action drama has Ajith playing a cop.
Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the project, which has Huma Qureshi as the female lead. The main highlight, of course, is our Telugu hero Kartikeya Gummakonda playing the villain.
