The regular shoot of “Akhanda 2,” the sequel to the blockbuster “Akhanda,” has commenced today with Balakrishna participating in the filming. Boyapati always begins his movie shootings with an action sequence. He does the same for this film. Action masters Ram-Lakshman composed a massive fight sequence for Boyapati to kick-start the shoot.
For this film, Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad has created a huge set.
The makers on the occasion unveiled a video, showcasing a gripping moment from the launching event, where Balakrishna delivers a powerful dialogue: “Ee Nela Asurudidi Kaadu ra…” Eshwarudidi… Parameswarudidi… Kaadani Thaakithe Jarigedi Thaandavam… Akhanda Thaandavam…”
The video also reveals the film’s release date as September 25, 2025.
The makers are planning “Akhanda 2” as a pan-Indian project. Both Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu are hoping to conquer the North Indian market with this film. Pragya Jaiswal plays the female lead.
