Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’ is getting ready to hit the theaters this Dussera festival. However, the makers have not yet confirmed the release date. The reason is that the makers are waiting to get clarity on ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh.
It must be recalled that the Andhra Pradesh government reduced the ticket prices in the state drastically. The G.O was issued in April this year. The Telugu film industry is planning to meet Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the first or second week of September to request him to change the G.O, and bring the ticket rates to pre-April 2021 prices.
‘Akhanda’ stars Nandamuri Balakrishna. The film is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy is the producer.
‘Akhanda’ will announce the release date once the Andhra Pradesh government decides the hiked ticket rates. If the government takes a favorable decision, ‘Akhanda’ might hit the theaters on October 13, 2021.
Except for the two songs, the shooting has been completed.
