Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy collaborated on the action spy thriller ‘Agent.’ The film has been in the works for quite some time. The project has been pushed back due to financial difficulties and other factors.
The release date has also been changed several times. The makers recently released a poster announcing its Sankranthi release plans. As Prabhas’s ‘Adipurush’ was postponed from the festival period, the producers attempted to place it for Sanrkanthi.
However, according to our sources, the film will not be released in January 2023. The shoot will not be finished.
The spy thriller is said to be Akhil’s most expensive film to date. Surender Reddy, the director, and the producers have fought over the escalating budget. Sakshi Vaidya, a newcomer, plays the heroine.
We will have to wait and see when the film will be released in theatres.
