Nagarjuna Akkineni is currently working on his landmark 100th film. However, neither the actor nor his team has made an official announcement regarding this milestone project. The film, reportedly directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik, is said to be facing certain production hurdles.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna’s team has already announced another project slated for release during Sankranthi 2027. Buzz in the industry suggests that director Kalyan Krishna is planning to revive the successful franchise that previously delivered hits like “Soggade Chinni Nayana” and “Bangarraju”.
According to the latest reports, Kalyan Krishna is developing a fresh installment in the series with an expanded narrative. The idea is to introduce three prominent characters that would bring together Nagarjuna and his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni, in a single film.
If materialized, this project will mark a full-fledged Akkineni multistarrer.
