A lot is happening in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s life lately.
His two sons – Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni – recently tied the knot with their respective partners, with the weddings taking place just seven months apart. On the professional front, Nagarjuna has wrapped up two major films. They are “Kuberaa” and “Coolie,” in which he plays crucial roles, not the lead parts.
He is now gearing up to host Season 9 of Bigg Boss Telugu. But the bigger news is that preparations are underway to launch his landmark 100th film ahead of his birthday (August 29).
The surprising twist? This milestone film will be directed by a relatively unknown filmmaker, a Tamil director Ra Karthik, who previously made “Nitham Oru Vaanam.” Although that film wasn’t a blockbuster, Nagarjuna was reportedly impressed by Karthik’s script and gave the green light.
The project will be officially announced and launched soon, with Annapurna Studios backing the production.
