In terms of films, Nagarjuna has slowed down. His most recent films yielded mixed results, with successes in regular entertainers (‘Bangarraju’) and failures in action dramas (‘The Ghost’ and ‘Wild Dog’). And at this age, he can’t do romantic comedies.
Hence, Nagarjuna has few options. He has reduced his acting commitments. He is, however, determined to make his 100th film in a big way. Nagarjuna will soon begin work on his 99th film, which will be directed by Bejawada Prasanna Kumar.
Nagarjuna will share screen time with his younger son Akhil Akkineni in his 100th film. For their combination, a story has already been written. This film will be directed by Mohan Raja.
Mohan Raja recently directed the film ‘Godfather,’ starring Chiranjeevi. Nagarjuna approved his story, and the director will soon produce a bound script. It is expected to begin its shooting in 2024.
