After a long break, shooting on “Kalki 2898 AD,” a dystopian thriller set in the year 2898AD, is set to resume. Prabhas, who has been away from filming, is scheduled to join the team on February 12.
The highlight of this new schedule is that it brings together all of the film’s actors, including Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Stars playing guest roles, such as Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan, will also join the shoot in this new schedule.
“Kalki 2898 AD” is being produced in two parts. With this massive schedule, the first phase (for the first part) of shooting will be completed.
Nag Ashwin is directing the sci-fi thriller, with C Ashwini Dutt producing it and is set to be released on May 9, 2024. It is expected to be India’s most expensive film ever.

There were speculations that the film would be postponed, but insiders say otherwise. The post-production work is also ongoing. All graphics work has already been completed. So there’s no need to change the date.
