Anaganaga Oka Raju: Promotions begin amidst rumours
Rumours about Naveen Polishetty’s “Anaganaga Oka Raju” have begun gaining ground. Speculative reports suggested that the film might opt out of the Sankranthi 2026 race due to unfinished work.
The lull in promotional activity further added credibility to these rumours.
However, today the production house, Sithara Entertainments, suddenly announced the date for the first single, indicating that promotions are officially beginning. This confirms that the film is very much part of the Sankranthi 2026 race, which is already crowded with big releases like The Raja Saab, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, and Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu.
It has been nearly three years since Naveen Polishetty last released a film.
“Anaganaga Oka Raju” faced multiple delays due to a change of director, script revisions, and even a change in the leading lady. After several reshoots and setbacks, the project is now in its final phase of production.
“Anaganaga Oka Raju” features Naveen Polishetty in the titular role, with Meenakshi Chaudhary playing a Godavari girl. The film has music composed by Mickey J Meyer. Polishetty has also lent his voice to a song, which will be released as the first single.
