Anirudh Ravichander continues to dominate the South Indian music scene, cementing his status as the region’s most popular music director. Even though some of his recent albums did not make a strong impact, Anirudh’s overall popularity shows no signs of slowing down.
The star composer has now become the first music director from South India to cross 13.2 billion streams across all credits on Spotify, a remarkable milestone. With this achievement, Anirudh ranks third among Indian artists, behind only Arijit Singh and Pritam.
Blockbuster tracks such as “Chaleya” from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and “Chuttamalle” from NTR’s Devara have significantly contributed to his massive reach. He currently enjoys 24.7 million monthly listeners, building on his earlier record of crossing 12 billion streams last September.
Reacting to the milestone, Anirudh thanked fans and music lovers on social media, expressing gratitude for their continued support.
