AR Rahman’s ex-wife, Saira Banu, recently underwent emergency surgery in the USA. The news was shared via an official statement by her lawyer, Vandana Shah.
“Saira Rahman was hospitalized due to a medical emergency and underwent surgery. During this challenging time, her sole focus is on a speedy recovery,” the statement said.
Saira Bhanu and AR Rahman announced their divorce last year after 30 years of marriage and three children.
In the statement, she also thanked her ex-husband AR Rahman for the support during this difficult period.
