Ashu Reddy has finally put an end to the speculation surrounding her engagement after cryptic pictures shared by her recently went viral on social media.
Two days after posting photos that strongly hinted at an engagement ceremony, Ashu clarified that the visuals were actually from her upcoming web series “Vikram On Duty”. Sharing new images from the show, she revealed that the earlier pictures were part of the series and not from her real life.
She wrote, “What we suddenly see with our eyes or hear with our ears MAY NOT always be the truth. Not EVERYTHING that appears real is genuine… THINK before you believe.”
The actress had earlier posted images showing her wearing a ring and participating in a traditional ceremony without adding any caption, leading to widespread speculation about her personal life.
The viral buzz gained further attention because Ashu Reddy was recently embroiled in a controversy after an NRI businessman filed a case against her. He alleged that she had taken more than Rs 9 crore from him on various occasions after allegedly promising marriage. The case is currently under investigation.
With her latest clarification, Ashu has confirmed that the engagement rumors were unfounded and linked only to promotions for her web series.
