Ashu Reddy, an actress and ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant, has broken her silence about her connection with producer KP Chowdhary, who was recently arrested by Hyderabad police on drug supply charges.
A news channel has been broadcasting news bulletins claiming that the police have apprehended major drug dealers and their partners. The channels claimed Ashu Reddy has close ties with KP Chowdhary, and his call history shows hours of calls to her.
Although Ashu Reddy denied any involvement on the first day via an Instagram statement, she remained silent for three days. She finally broke her silence by uploading a video to Instagram.
She stated in the video that she has all proof to deny any drug-related links with him. She condemned some media outlets for openly displaying her phone number. “I’ve been getting calls from unknown people every second since then,” she stated in the video.

“I’m going to take my stand and fight for myself. Some of the low standard news channels have been openly displaying my number and spreading false information. A defamation case will be filed if it’s not removed,” she said.
Ashu Reddy has 1.9 million Instagram followers. She rose to prominence as a result of her bold photoshoots and daring interviews.
