Kannada director Prashanth Neel unleashed a trend of making action movies with dark frames; from the setting to the frame, everything looks dark in his films. The hero usually is powerful. He has created a template for new blockbuster actioners with massive successes like “KGF,” “KGF 2,” and “Salaar.”.
The other Kannada filmmakers are also following the same path. “Bagheera,” starring another Kannada star, Sreemurali, seems to be following the same. The trailer is out. The team released the trailer for the Telugu version today.
The trailer proves that the film follows the above-mentioned trend. Prashanth Neel also writes the story, while Dr. Suri directs it. It is also produced by Hombale Films of “KGF.” Apparently, even if he is not directing but just providing the story, Neel has developed the same template of ‘dark actioners’.
Rukhmini Vasanth plays the typical heroine in this film.
