The only successful Telugu movie from the past week is “Bedurulanka 2012” (released on August 25). The comedy film starring Kartikeya Gummakonda has broken even after only four days.
The film not only broke even for all distributors by Monday, but it also passed a crucial test.
Produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ is a much-needed boost for the ‘RX 100’ star. After starring as the main villain in Ajith’s “Valimai” last year, Kartikeya was eager to find another smashing success.
The film is another success for producer Ravindra Benerjee who earlier produced ‘Color Photo’.
